Pauline Frederick, a pioneer of the media field, was the first woman to appear on network television. She covered many events in the Cold War, including the Cuban Missile crisis. In this hour we talk about her legacy today, and women in news media, with Ohio University journalism professor Marilyn Greenwald, who wrote "Pauline Frederick Reporting: A Pioneering Broadcaster Covers the Cold War." Joining us in the last segment is Rachel Larris, communications manager for the Women's Media Center.
