All Sides with Ann Fisher - 10:00 AM - Women in the Boardroom: The Future of Female CEOs

Play

Last week General Motors named Mary Barra their CEO. She's highly qualified, and has worked at the company for over 30 years, so her appointment shouldn't be much of a surprise. Except that she's a woman. This hour we'll discuss why it's still rare for a female to oversee a corporation, and whether young women are aiming for the boardroom at all.

Guests:

D'Vera Cohn, senior writer at the Pew Research Center
Julie Graber, CEO of the Institute on Women
Susan McTiernan, associate dean for graduate programs at the Quinnipiac University School of Business and Engineering
