All Sides with Ann Fisher - 10:00 AM - Whistle-blowers or Traitors?

Play

Last Sunday, former vice president Dick Cheney called NSA whistle-blower Edward Snowden a traitor. Though he's been hailed in some circles as a hero, Snowden has said he's neither saint nor sinner, but just "an American." This hour we'll take a close look at the NSA's data-gathering program, and discuss when the government's right to keep secrets, and when it's best to blow the whistle.

Guests:

Mark Hosenball, senior national security correspondent at Reuters
Geoffrey Stone, professor of law at Chicago University
Kathleen McClellan, national security & human rights counsel at the Government Accountability Project
