Ever look at a map and think about taking a scenic adventure? Ever wonder what interesting people you might meet along the way? If your answer is yes, then tune in to WBGU-TV's new, local program, Scenic Stops. This weekly show explores what's off the beaten path in our region. What's Unique? Unusual? Unknown?
We will explore every inch of our 19-county-viewing area to find and bring you the most unique stories about the area we call home and about the people we call neighbors. A few stops on the way include the Spangler Candy Company in Bryan, OH, Educational Tours at the OSU Stone Lab on Gibralter Island, and the gorgeous vegetables at the Chef's Garden in Huron. We also meet Scott Phillips, on a behind the scenes tour of the national PBS program, "American Woodshop", a very unique cannon maker from Tiffin whose cannons have appeared in blockbuster movies and a beautiful young lady who can wrangle any snake-barehanded!
We are sure you will want to make a scenic stop yourself!!
